Mrs. Bakuradze is the partner of Shanidze & Nikoladze Law Group also holds the position of Senior Associate.
Mrs. Bakuradze has more than 6 years of work experience in various legal sectors, including, over 3 years of professional background in the field of administrative law.
At Shanidze & Nikoladze Law Group, Mrs. Bakuradze is responsible for representing the company’s foreign clients at Georgian state/administrative bodies or courts, drafting clients’ corporate documents, internal policies, etc. Moreover, drafting/revision of contracts/agreements before signature. One of the most important parts of her practice in SNLG is the assistance of the company’s clients in public procurement or international (EBRD, ADB, etc.) tendering processes.
Prior to joining SNLG, Mrs. Bakuradze served as an Enforcement Officer at the National Bureau of Enforcement, LEPL of Ministry of Justice of Georgia. She was in charge of rapid and effective enforcement of decisions made by the Courts of Georgia and facilitating a dialogue between the creditor and debtor in the process of enforcement proceedings. Shortly after her appointment on the position, Ekaterine got a Letter of Appreciation for her devotion and loyalty to the bureau. Before leaving the public service, she was actively engaged in arrangements aimed to improve Georgian Enforcement Law.
During her early career, Ekaterine had the privilege to obtain a long-term internship in the JSC Bank Republic. In order to gain the relevant skills and experience in Banking and Labor Law, she made an in-depth observation of different departments within the bank, such as Legal, HR, and Credit Operations Departments. While pursuing her LLM degree she was enrolled in Legal Clinic provided by Eristavi & Partners Law firm.
Mrs. Bakuradze holds Degree of Bachelor of Law from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Law, she also holds an LLM degree from Tbilisi State University in Civil Law. During her studies, Mrs. Bakuradze was actively involved in non-academic activities, few examples of these are activities held by EYP (European Youth Parliament) and GIFSU (Georgian International Forum of Students Unions).
Ekaterine completed a course on the practical aspects and key challenges of FIDIC (International Federation of Consulting Engineers) contracts, organized by the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
She was also involved in UNDP-GEF Project “Green Cities: Integrated Sustainable Transport for the City of Batumi and the Adjara Region” as a non-key Expert in 2018-2019. The main feature of the project was the elaboration of Sustainable and Resilient Urban Mobility Plans (SRUMP) for each of five selected municipalities of the Adjara AR and Low-carbon Regional Passenger Transportation Masterplan for the Adjara AR. Her duties covered Supporting Legal & Institutional Expert in the process of developing an institutional and organizational model for a regional transportation authority in Adjara AR.
In 2019, Ekaterine completed the CopyrightX course organized by Harvard Law School in association with Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society and Tbilisi State University in English and holds a Certificate from Harvard Law School.
Mrs. Bakuradze successfully passed the Georgian Bar Exam in 2018 and is an active member of the Georgian Bar Association.
With native Georgian Language, Mrs. Bakuradze is fluent in English and Russian languages.
